Mick Spence
Russell (Mick) Spence, Jr.

Mr. Spence's practice focuses on civil litigation, business & corporate law, entertainment law and intellectual property. As a successful business owner himself, Mr. Spence has years of hands-on experience conceiving, starting, growing and managing businesses. He understands the joys, risks, headaches and legal issues faced by business owners and entrepreneurs. Mr. Spence received the "Outstanding Business Plan Award" in 1988 for his work in Entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. His experience and network of business, legal and social associates provides his clients with benefits and contacts in both the business and entertainment industries.

Mr. Spence is the current Business Association Chair of the Minnesota Music Academy, as well as it's immediate-past President. He is also the immediate-past Chairperson of the Art & Entertainment Law Section of Minnesota State Bar Association, and Former Chair of the Art & Entertainment Committee of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Division. He frequently writes and lectures on both business and entertainment law matters.

Education
William Mitchel College of Law: JD 1993;  University of Southern California: BS 1988: (Entrepreneurship/Business Administration). He also studied engineering at the University of Wisconsin Stout, and international comparative business through USC/University of Southern Europe in Monaco.
